The main drawback is the price to run it. I got myself this portable hot tub and was skeptical about quality and performance. Humorous thing I keep noticing are complaints filed online selling this merchandise end up miraculously disappearing so wonder if this one will stay here and if I could give this no stars I would. For all the years I’ve been interested in amateur astronomy I’ve heard the same question again and again.Amateur astronomy sounds like and something “geeky”, but what is it exactly? Science? A boring hobby? Art?Oh well, I guess it is all of the above, this is why I truly believe it is a great hobby for youngsters and older people. Let me explain:

First of all, by observing the skies you get an overall idea about how small we are, but at the same time, how close other planets are next to us. You will get that important feeling called “OMG! I am not the center of the world!”. I would call that an introduction to philosophy.

It won’t be long before you will start reading about galaxies and planetary objects and formations, which will give you a small insight on astronomy, you will start recognizing constellations on the night sky, you will see how easy it is to find your whereabouts without a compass in the night, or while sailing. It might not sound that exciting to you, but trust me, this is something you appreciate when you experience it for the first time. So Amateur astronomy holds a degree of science, it might not make you a fully fledged astronomer or a physicist but you will feel like one.

The more time you spend on reading the skies, night and day, you will realize you are an actual explorer, and the more time you spend, you will feel amateur astronomy is a hobby. It something you do out of habit, because it fulfills you!

When I was charged with disorderly conduct, I was pretty surprised. I was outside of my house trying to get some drunk people off of my property when the police arrived. We were all arrested when they couldn’t figure out what was going on. I was enraged but I didn’t say anything because I knew it could hurt me even further.
